The following information applies to the majority of Global Software Applications Custom Development projects.

Protecting Your Ideas
To protect your private information and intellectual & conceptual property, both parties agree upon a Non-Disclosure Agreement (N.D.A.) before you deliver any sensitive information.

The Development Process
Experience has taught us that the best results come from the cleanest, most direct path for information. We ask that, whenever possible, clients assign a single, primary point of contact through which a project can flow. Changes in project direction, revisions, reception by G.S.A. of necessary information, design aspects/elements, etc. will need to go through that point-of contact, or at the direction of that person.

We ask the primary contact consult with all relevant personnel on the client's side through the project's course to ensure the smoothest process and lessening the chance of conflicting information. This saves time and, in the end, money for the customer.

Risk Management Control
Especially in the case of offshore projects, there is always the potential for risks or difficulties in delivery.G.S.A. will work with the client to get a clear assessment on any difficulties, well in advance, and work to resolve any potential issues in accordance. This extra step helps ensure product delivery in time and well within budget.

Product Management Transfer
When development is completed, all aspects are tested and the finalized product approved, this final step involves transfer of oversight, knowledge documentation and user manuals, from G.S.A. to the client, based on the pre-agreed-to guidelines.

Information to Consider:

The more detail which can be ascertained early on can help make the development process as seamless as possible, plus help prevent "project creep", which can affect deadlines and cause cost inflation.

Project Scope
What do you require the software to do?

What features and functions best characterize your vision of the final product or service?

What security precautions are there to consider (For example, protection for credit card processing)?

What, if any, hardware considerations are there (Indoor, outdoor, etc.)?

Should the final product be cross-device (Eg: PC, Kiosk, Mobile devices, etc.)?

Time Frame
Is there a target date to begin the development process?

Is there a target date for going "live"?  If so, this can help us give a workable and realistic timeline for meeting each step in the process.

Programming Platform
Is there a specific computer language or platform the application must utilize?

Language
G.S.A. can accomodate multiple languages for your application providing flexibility, added functionalty and an extra measure of "user-friendliness".

Design, Adherence to Company/ Graphic Profile
Is there a standardized design profile to follow?

Will graphic files (Design elements such as headers, backgrounds, various elements, fonts, etc.) be supplied?

Ongoing Support
Will ongoing technical support be required?

What from the standpoint of backend revisions, possible expansion, future changes to design elements, etc.

Who will handle the server residence/Access Remote Desktop, Hosting account credentials, etc.).

Hardware
Will the hardware be purchased through G.S.A./Here2There or a 3rd party supplier?
